International competitions have an amazing way to bring people together to root for our respective home teams and for a small moment in time, differences are put aside so we can celebrate wins and commiserate painful losses. Through all this, certain groups are gracious in victory as well in defeat.
This week, Ben and Syya look at why there is a collective appreciation for how Japanese fans and the teams clean up after games without fanfare. What is it that drives people to "do the right thing" and act on behalf of the greater good. Can it happen elsewhere or is it uniquely Japanese?
